been gone for a minute, now i'm back

hola amigos! i feel sooooooo awful for not updating my blog almost five months! im so ashamed, i hope you all can forgive me. so much has happened in the past few months, i took tons of pictures to document my new life. now that i'm finally settled, i am ready to share.

myself, friends, and my lovely sister decided to paint the town red, or should i say black . grabbing a few drinks at infamour new orleans bar, phillips, and then heading to a party at club metro to a vibe black party, hosted by nelly! good friends + good drinks always = a good time <3

something refreshing for you

its so hot in new orleans during the summer time ... i need something refreshing to cool me off. i am so jealous of the girls in the picture since i have to work in this hot office with no a/c. i think instead of fixing the broken a/c, my office should invest in placing a pool in the backyard, which will be a nice way for us to refresh .. ahhhhh <3

p.s. i'm going tubing today, that should work right?

dress me up

one of my favorite past times in my younger days was playing dress up. me and my little sister would dress up in my mom's clothes and pretend we were famous actresses out to lunch on melrose. of course my mother loved the idea of this and would help us in our wardrobe. she would even layer our faces with blush, eye shadow and lipstick. i remember one time specifically, when we decided to bake with my easy bake oven, and dress up for a tea party. the only problem - i was seven and had no idea about baking, making an awful tasting cake that to this day, still causes me to cringe every time i say or hear the word "easy bake oven". i can absolutely say that my baking skills have improved (or at least i think so) , but i definitely miss those days of playing dress up. <3
