pomp and circumstance ... i'm a graduate now!

dress: millau(LF), shoes: jeffrey campbell, necklace: banana republic
drink: the champagne of beers, miller hi-life

take a good look at this image. this is a young girl who has spent her youth in the dreary classrooms of xavier university. studying night after night biology, physics, biochemistry, and everything else that you can think of that sounds dreadful. the worst part of her years of studies was the realization that she no longer wanted to be a doctor, nurse, or anything having to do with the awful subjects previously mentioned before. despite her sudden change of heart, she was forced to endure three more, long , treacherous years at the university, studying night after night biology, physics, biochemistry, and everything else you can think of that sounds dreadful. but alas, she saw the light at the end of the tunnel. although she was miserable all of these years studying what her heart did not desire, she saw that she would accomplish something that does not happen everyday. she would soon be a college graduate, she would be free from her treacherous studies, and she would soon be able to study what her heart truly desires. so if you're wondering why the girl in the image looks the way she does, it's because she finally GRADUATED!!!

gigi: the bartender of the night - that made me a fabulous grad drink made with fresh watermelon, oranges, and mixture of different liquors. this drink was the beginning of the end of my night, or the reason why my actions were a little "intoxicating" ... hey you can only finish undergrad once right? why not live it up

i love, love, love xmas lights. i don't know why but they make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. if you have ever been to one of my parties, you will see how i always love to decorate with xmas lights. i will most likely be the only person on the block with her xmas lights on all year round.

fyi: the guy on the far right is my boyfriend, DJ, the "cinematographer"- please do not call him a camera man, he hates that. anywho, he's the one that so generously donated this picture taker to me, without which i may not have any shots of my grad party.
